Membership in NJWMA is restricted to moving companies that have been in business in NJ for at least three years and have a current NJ public movers license and must be sponsored by two current members. Additional restrictions do apply. There are three types of membership; movers, owner-operators and vendors. If you are mover or warehouseman, you can become a full member, entitling you to benefits and the right to take part in membership programs. Movers follow the instructions below starting with # 1. If you are an Owner-operator, you must be contracted to a current member; please have your compny sponsor contact us to start the application process. If you are a vendor that supplies services to movers, complete the Associate Member application.

1.  Members must be registered as a public mover with the State of New Jersey Office of Consumer Protection, Division of Consumer Affairs,  and have and maintain a current movers license. Your company must also  comply with Federal and State laws.

(Note: Please contact us if you need to file a tariff, we will assist in this process but you can't join NJWMA without a license.)

2. Fill out the membership application in it's entirety and sign it at the bottom, instuctions are on the last page.

3. Send the completed application to the address above with the application fee of $50 in addition to the dues based on the number of vans you have in service in New Jersey:

Upon receipt and approval of Association Membership application, an information packet will be mailed to you. This packet contains valuable information and additional benefits available to members.
